IN PICTURES: MAHI MADNESS FROM THE 20TH ANNUAL BULL AND COW TOURNAMENT

Team Dream Weaver earns a $20,000 payday as the top overall boat, posting a combined bull and cow weight of 68.6 pounds.

An armada of 53 boats set their sights offshore on May 2-3 in search of the ocean’s fastest-growing fish for the 20th Annual Tom Thumb Marathon Offshore Bull & Cow Dolphin Tournament. Dodging storms while battling driving rain on the second day of the two-day contest, anglers battled it out to boat the largest combined weight of a male and female mahi-mahi, adding blackfin tuna, wahoo and tripletail to their bluewater hunts. An awards banquet at Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters saw more than $30,000 in cash prizes and trophies awarded to the winning boats and anglers.
