An Islamorada man was arrested after sheriff’s deputies said he threatened to kill a woman.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was called to North Ocean Lane in Islamorada at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Feb 26, after a man, later identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Wayne Brenner, reportedly threw concrete rocks at the woman. The female victim stated Brenner entered her property screaming that he was going to kill her.
Deputies said Brenner was found nearby shortly thereafter and stated the victim and her husband were, “using some type of machine to radiate him.” He was taken to jail. There were no reported serious injuries.
Brenner was charged with aggravated assault, throwing a deadly missile, and burglary.
