A Key West man was pronounced dead early Sunday morning after a fall down the stairs of a local bar. Matthew Richard Farge, 28, was escorting a male out of a local establishment on Greene Street when he collapsed and fell down the stairs. He struck his head and was unconscious when paramedics were called.
Farge was transported to the Lower Keys Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. Key West Police Detectives and the Monroe County Medical Examiner are investigating the incident. No foul play is suspected.
