I spent 45 minutes with this 20+ foot Manta at Isla de Caño, Costa Rica, and surfaced like I had just taken my first breath underwater again. I'll carry that manta with me for the rest of my life, in mind and on my body. JOHN DIETRICH/Contributed
Our theme for MARCH is ADDICTED TO INK. We’re showcasing all the gorgeous, silly, drunken-night-on-Duval tattoos on the island. Lots of us (all of us?) have some great ink, so send us pictures of your favorites! And, if you’ve got a great story behind what it is, share it with us!
All photos must be original work and feature something or someone related to the Keys.
Photos can be images that have been published before.

I walked into Paradise Tattoo on Duval Street and got the lyric from Jimmy Buffett’s “He Went to Paris” (proofread it three times) and walked out with a daily reminder that I’ve got it pretty good no matter the circumstance. CHARLES McCLOUD/Contributed
My dad and I always sang “When You Wish Upon a Star” together. Tinkerbell (me) and Jiminy Cricket (him) represent us. He also used to wake me on spring nights to smell the honeysuckle, also in the tattoo. DEBBIE CIPOLLONE/Contributed
