The Key West Art & Historical Society is accepting vendor applications for ZombieLand, the family-friendly party before the annual Zombie Bike Ride, one of the most events of Fantasy Fest. ZombieLand will take place on Sunday, Oct.18, from 2 to 6 p.m., on the parade grounds of the historic Fort East Martello Museum, 3501 South Roosevelt Blvd.
Each year, thousands of costumed bicyclists gather at Fort East Martello for a kickoff to the Zombie Bike Ride. The ZombieLand event offers activities for all ages, including a kids’ zone with bounce houses and games, live local music on the main stage and face and body painters. Guests can also browse local art and handmade goods, enjoy food trucks and unwind with beverages from a full bar featuring beer, wine and specialty drinks.
The historical society is seeking a wide range of vendors – food trucks, face and body artists, jewelers, craftspeople, performers and local nonprofits – to join this year’s festivities.
“ZombieLand is one of those special Key West events where creativity, community and a bit of the unexpected come together,” said Chaze Cervantez, rentals manager at the Key West Art & Historical Society. “We’re excited to create a fun, welcoming experience for families, locals, visitors and Zombie Bike Ride pedalers, while giving local vendors a great opportunity to connect with the community. We encourage vendors of all kinds to join us and help make this year’s ZombieLand a memorable part of Fantasy Fest.”
