Sunset Rotary’s scholarship fund benefited from last weekend’s 11th Annual Menendez Miler. Bobby Menendez is a former principal of Key West High School and started the scholarship fund to help students heading off to college. According to Rotarian and Poinciana Teacher Megan Wise, the Miler had about 100 racers and raised enough to give $4,000 to students graduating this year from Key West High School.
Key West Weekly’s Britt Myers, Steven Powell and attorney Donald Barrett support Rotary’s Menendez Miler.
