Sereia Films, a seafood education nonprofit, announces the premiere of the latest installment of its docuseries, “The Hunt for Sustainable Seafood.” The video will premiere at the Safe Harbor Angler House on Thursday, Feb. 29 with bites by Mezza Morada. Networking and snacks take place at 6:30 p.m. followed by the film at 7 p.m. and a question-and-answer session.
This series highlights Florida seafood producers and the latest episode features a 30-year-old native Floridian who’s growing oysters off Sebastian, Florida. Nicolette Mariano, owner of Treasure Coast Shellfish, shares with us the trials and tribulations of running an oyster farm in Florida. If you’re a seafood lover, you’ll want to come out and learn about a very sustainable Florida seafood option.
