The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County confirmed the second COVID-19-related death in Monroe County.  The patient was a 55-year-old-male who had co-morbidities.

There are now 42 total cases in the county, 37 of which are residents and five of which aren’t. There have been seven hospitalizations and two deaths.

23 of the cases are in Key West, five in Key Largo, four in Tavernier, and one in each of Islamorada, Summerland Key, Key Conoly Beach and Marathon. One case is missing a city.

21 are travel-related, 12 are community-acquired and nine are under investigation.
