Soon-to-be Coral Shores High School graduates gathered at the Islamorada Sandbar on May 11 and tossed their caps into the air as a drone hovered above. The Senior Sandbar Cap Toss is a local tradition that started during the pandemic. It’s one of several events organized by parents through Project Graduation. The official graduation ceremony for the Coral Shores High School Class of 2024 will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at 7 p.m.
