The Well Read Women Club is increasing reading opportunities for people of all ages in the Upper Keys with Little Free Libraries. On March 18, club members Susie Jannach, Carey Navarro, Robyn McIntyre and Susie Fryman presented the students and staff at Ocean Studies Charter School with a nautical-decorated Little Free Library. Outside the school at MM 106 bayside in Key Largo, several club members stopped by to meet with young readers, who expressed gratitude to the club. “We are all thankful for your great generosity toward our school and are full of pleasure that you are helping and encouraging students to grow their reading habits,” said Ellie Rudolph, a student at Ocean Studies. Jannach and her mother, Claire Lang, started The Well Women Club 10 years ago. “We all love to read,” Jannach told the students. “We enjoy eating and sharing ideas and reading books.” The Well Women Club has installed Little Libraries on Morada Way near Valerie Perreault’s art gallery and near the tennis courts at Founders Park.
