Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys (HFHUK) has hosted its annual cocktail party in the Upper Keys every March for nearly 10 years. This year, however, HFHUK was forced to cancel the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In lieu of the annual cocktail party, HFHUK has rolled out the “Help Us Build It” campaign, hoping to raise $1 million.

For the entire month of July, as a part of the campaign, HFHUK is hosting an online auction to help raise money to build affordable housing, specifically four units at Keys Heights in Islamorada.

The online auction has a number of items available, from a golf cart donated by Riva Motorsports to kiteboarding lessons from oTHERside Boardsports. Other items include unique bottles of wine from the Landau family wine cellar, a wine suitcase to fly with said wine, dinner with Pasta Pantaleo, art, hotel stays and even a ride for six on the Cruisin’ Tiki.

“There is a nice variety of items in our auction, so be sure to check it out and bid often,” said Lindsay Fast, executive director for Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys.

The auction is at www.habitatupperkeys.org/auction through July 31.
