HOLIDAY SHOPPING: KEY WEST GARDEN CLUB HOSTS PLANT SALE & ARTIST MARKET NOV. 18 & 19

The Key West Garden Club will hold its annual fall plant sale and artist market at the West

Martello Tower, 1100 Atlantic Boulevard, Key West from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19. Admission and parking are free.

The Garden Club will have a large selection of ornamental and native plants for sale, including sun-, shade- and drought-resistant varieties. The club will be selling its tried-and-true tomatoes grown from seed as well as several unusual herbs. Knowledgeable volunteers will be available to help visitors select the right plants for their home. Help will be provided to cart items to vehicles, or attendees may bring their own carts and wagons inside. 

In addition to the Garden Club, Soroa Orchids and Tropiflora Nursery will be selling orchids, bromeliads, tillandsias, herbs and vegetables. OFE Intl. will be selling orchid and other horticultural supplies. The club’s popular orchid fertilizer balls will be available for purchase.

Living Towers will be selling state-of-the-art Tower Gardens, which are vertical, space-saving and aeroponic gardens.

Master gardeners from the extension office of Monroe Country can help with plant and gardening questions. A 30-minute Lunch and Learn discussion will take place each day near the food booth, where attendees can interact with experts. Door prizes will be awarded at each lecture.

Local artists will also have booths set up throughout the garden with signs leading the way. 

Just in time for holiday shopping, the artists create and sell unique and custom paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, hemp health products and more. 

Lunch items, including the club’s famous bratwursts, will be available for sale at the food booth.

Per Monroe County ordinance, pets are not allowed inside the gardens.
