Marathon Fire Rescue crews quickly extinguished a fire on June 29 at the Key by the Sea mobile home park that destroyed a home.
There were no injuries reported, although the home’s resident was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, according to officials. Two dogs in the residence also escaped injury, officials said.
Smoke from the late-morning fire clouded U.S. 1. After receiving a call at 11:06 a.m., firefighters arrived at 11:11 a.m. and put out the blaze, city officials said, saving numerous other homes and lives in the process.
