Realtors with Ocean Sotheby’s International Realty closed the offices on April 26 for a day of service to the community. The first Ocean Sotheby’s International Realty Day of Service saw Realtors putting on gloves and wielding bags to clean up Anne’s Beach in Islamorada, Coco Plum Beach in Marathon and Little Hamaca Park in Key West. “At Ocean Sotheby’s, both our company and our professional agents are committed to the communities we live and work in. It is an honor to be able to serve,” said Russell Post, owner and broker. The day of service idea was initiated by Lauren Varney, marketing director and director of operations. “While we are honored to lend financial support to many organizations and charities throughout the Keys, it’s equally as important to us that we do the physical work needed to keep our islands as pristine as possible. So out of that mindset came a day where we closed the offices and got a little dirty. We are excited to continue this initiative in the years to come.” Varney said.
