The Key West Community Sailing Center wrapped up another summer of sailing with its end-of-summer party on Aug. 8.

More than 250 young sailors, ages 5-17, participated in the summer sailing camp this year, learning sailing skills, building confidence and making memories on the water. More than 20% of the campers were able to attend through scholarships that support low-income and underserved families.

Throughout the summer, each camper signed a sail that was hoisted at the end-of-summer event. Campers brought their families to Saturday’s celebration, where they were able to take them out on the water and show off the skills they developed.
