Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys is preparing for its 26th annual golf tournament on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Redland Golf Course in Homestead.
Funds raised through the annual tournament fuel Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys’ mission to build safe, affordable homes and stronger futures for local families. Every sponsorship, registration, donation and contribution helps support the organization’s ongoing work to expand affordable homeownership opportunities throughout the Upper Keys.
Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys partners with qualified local families to help them achieve homeownership. Through volunteer labor, community support, donated resources and 0% interest mortgages, Habitat helps families build strength, stability and self-reliance through a place they can call home. This summer, Habitat helped five local families close on their new homes.
The annual golf tournament brings together local businesses, community members, sponsors and golfers in support of that mission. Beyond the funds raised on tournament day, the event provides an opportunity to recognize the businesses and individuals who invest in the future of the Upper Keys.
