Inez Daniels Licht, 95, passed away on March 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Joseph Randolph (Bubba) Daniels and granddaughter, Angela Nicole Denise Daniels. Bubba, Inez and their four children moved to Marathon in 1957 to build the Church of God on 74th Street, starting out with just a tent. After Grandpa Daniels’ death, Inez remarried former Coast Guard veteran Herman Licht, giving birth to Dana Licht and moving to Tampa, Florida. She is survived by her children, Shirley Ann Daniels Culmer, Tim Daniels, Steve Daniels and Renee Daniels Hunter; eight grandchildren: Gina Jackson, Randy and Jody Culmer, Tiffany and Randolph Daniels, Janel Daniels, Nicole and Daniel Hunter; and 14 great-grandchildren: Gianna, Jared, Jace, Randy, Tyler, Cole, Clay, Drake, Skyler, Harley, Kai, Kenai, Sean and Curtis. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 20, in Ortona, Florida, officiated by Rev. Nick Vaughn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Marathon Church of God, 800 74th St., Marathon, FL 33050.
