Parade honors Key West’s Class of 2020

Key West High School grads on the move

There was no shortage of  “Conch crimson” the evening of Thursday, May 28 in Key West, where parents, friends and supporters of the Class of 2020 treated graduates to a parade on the eve of their graduation.

The KWHS commencement ceremony will take place virtually today (Friday, May 29) and in-person next month, if the continuing pandemic doesn’t change those plans.

The students last night rode in convertibles and stood up through sunroofs to receive standing ovations from small groups of onlookers who lined the streets along the parade route.
