ROSE-COLORED SPECTACLES FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

“Through my eyes,” shot on Cudjoe Bay. KIM WORKMAN/Contributed

We’re collecting our favorite shots of the Keys and featuring the photographers in the newspaper and on our social media channels. Our themes next month are “SALUTE OUR VETS” for Veteran’s Day and “GRATEFUL” for Thanksgiving. For our vets, send a picture of yourself while serving and one now! For grateful, send us what makes your heart sing and a caption about why.

Photos, captions and photo credit can be emailed to tiffany@keysweekly.com

Rules, schmules:

  • All photos must be original work and feature something in the Keys.

Beautiful pink bougainvillea in the cemetery. I do not find cemeteries “haunted;” instead I see the beauty there among the markers – almost a tribute to those who have passed on. DIANA MUCHA/Contributed
