student of the week: Sydney Eysenbach

The Upper Keys Weekly is proud to partner with Treasure Village Montessori faculty and students in choosing “The Student of the Week.” Recipients are chosen on qualifications including academic standing, athletics, outstanding achievements, community involvement, individuality and moral fortitude. We thank our future leaders and TVM for allowing us to share in a weekly dose of “Sea Dragon” pride and for giving us a glimpse into their world. 

What is something most people don’t know about you? I am training to get my private pilot’s license right now. 

Who is your all-time favorite teacher and why? My all-time favorite teacher is Ms. Bobbi because she’s helped me in many ways and became more of a friend than a teacher. 

What is your favorite subject and why? My favorite subject is math because I comprehend it easier than other subjects. 

What organizations and activities are you involved with at TVM? I am involved with basketball, volleyball and a student ambassador of TVM. 

What is the best rule at your school? The best rule at my school is there is no such thing as a two-person game. 

What’s your favorite food for lunch? My favorite food is a nutella sandwich. 

What do you want to be when you grow up and why? When I grow up I want to be an engineer because I want to help better our world. 

What do you hope to be remembered for at TVM? I hope to be remembered at TVM for the coolest science fair projects. 

What is one favorite way to spend your spare time? My favorite way to spend my spare time is playing basketball everyday after school. Will you make the Keys your permanent home in the future? Why or why not? No, I will not make the Keys my permanent home in the future because I wish to live everywhere and constantly travel.
