How can you help ensure local children are equipped with everything they need to excel in

school? Join the United Way of Collier and the Keys’ efforts to raise funds for “Stuff the Bus” before Aug. 31.

All contributions go directly to fund the needs of Monroe County students. More than ever, Florida Keys children need the community’s help. With nearly half of Keys families unable to

afford life’s basic needs, many children return to school each year at a disadvantage. With costs of necessities skyrocketing, the United Way is helping all local children be equipped for success. United Way of Collier and the Keys’ annual “Stuff the Bus” program is the largest back-to-school readiness campaign in Monroe County. It provides support through each of the 16 local schools and ensures that all students have the necessities and opportunities they need throughout the school year.

Every dollar collected for “Stuff the Bus” goes directly to supporting Monroe County school children. Financial donations allow the schools to provide important educational items and other supplies and expenses that are essential for a successful school year. “Stuff the Bus” is only possible due to the continued generosity of individuals, businesses, and civic groups in Monroe County.
