Trucks and trailers, RVs venture down for Labor Day weekend

Traffic into the Keys was steady through the mid- to late-afternoon hours of Sept. 4. A number of trucks hauling boats and RVs made their way into the Keys for the Labor Day weekend. While no major traffic backups or bumper-to-bumper traffic were seen on Sept. 4 in this drone image over Jewfish Creek Bridge in Key Largo, the next day was a different story, with heavy traffic south from Florida City through the Middle Keys. The mass exodus was seen on Sept. 7 as vehicles crawled slowly north. DAVID GROSS/Contributed
