UPPER KEYS PACK SHOEBOXES FOR OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

On Nov. 5, local churches, Coral Shores Interact Club and a visitor from Wisconsin packed 250 shoeboxes of toys and items for less privileged children across the world for Operation Christmas Child. The annual beach packing began in 2012 when Samaritan’s Purse filmed a diver for their promo to commemorate 100 million shoebox gifts. First Baptist Church Key Largo  has continued the annual event and celebrated with hot dogs and hamburgers following the packing. This year, the ministry of Operation Christmas Child is celebrating 200 million shoebox gifts. The Florida Keys Area team is grateful to the community for support of this project.
