Tarpon Creek Bar and Grill, located behind the Holiday Inn Express in Marathon, just launched a new happy hour menu with longer hours, and a full menu with lower prices, to thank locals for their support over the years.

“We now have (one of) the latest running happy hour in Marathon,” said Catering and Marketing Manager Ashley Keeney citing the new hours from 4 to 7 p.m. “We wanted to make it so people can actually come out and enjoy the evening after work and still be able to get some great deals.”

The new happy hour menu includes $5 tapas style appetizers like the ever-popular Cuban rice balls, and other favorites like conch fritters, chicken wings, buffalo shrimp, calamari, and filet mignon sliders. The drink pricing is a 3-4-5 menu. Three dollars for domestic bottles of beer and house wine, $4 for import beers and house liquor, and $5 for craft draught beer on tap.

“The food is great, but the ambiance is the best in town,” she said. “The high tiki is always cool even on hot summer days, and the view can’t be beat.”

The happy hour pricing can be found throughout the restaurant, not just at the bar, and they are up for a Best of Marathon Award for already having a great happy hour, and of course the best wood fire pizzas on the island.
