Nearly $900,000 million in scholarship funds changed hands from community organizations and memorial scholarship funds to Coral Shores High School graduates during Senior Awards Night on May 26. Inside the performing arts center, family, friends and school faculty joined in celebrating the seniors’ academic accomplishments. Baye Haddad, college and career counselor, said the community’s financial support opens doors for students while validating their hard work.
