Bahia Honda State Park will host a sand sculpture class by professional sand sculptor, Rick Mungeam, of Beach Sand Sculptures, on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Learn professional sand sculpting tips and techniques. The lesson begins with a demonstration; showing tools and their usage, and participants will learn exactly how much water to add to the sand to create a perfect mixture. Then, students will be mentored as they create their own sand sculpture.

Clothes and shoes that can get wet and sandy are recommended, as are a hat, sunscreen, drinking water, and snacks.

This event is free with regular park admission.
