FISH REPORT: THE BITE HEATS AS WEATHER COOLS

This Week’s Fishing Report

Last week was a bit windy. With the full moon, however, I am happy to report a solid bite of wahoo. Several locals reported two to three catches of wahoo on a trip.

The yellowtail bite along the reef has been outstanding. But, grouper fishing, at least for me, was a little slow. I feel like we caught everything but a grouper. Once we hit November only two months left of grouper season.

There have also been some sailfish and an excellent bite of blackfin tuna. With the weather cooling down, these bites will only continue to get better!

This Week’s Tip — Magical Green Water

When the north wind blows and the water appears to be green on the surface, many guys tend to overlook it and keep looking for good clean blue water. However, below two-three feet below the green water is a beautiful purple, blue water, and the fish are there!

So, don’t overlook the green water.
