Some of childhood’s happiest memories are made in moments of simple joy — sliding down water slides, laughing with friends and gathering with neighbors who care about one another.
This August, Wesley House Family Services hopes to create those moments with the Big Splash, a celebration that is 100% about the kids while supporting services that strengthen families across Monroe and south Miami-Dade counties.
The Big Splash takes place Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Wesley House Key Largo office event grounds, 5 Homestead Ave., Key Largo. The day will include five water slides, a foam pit and a toddler zone. The event continues Wesley House’s commitment to creating safe, fun experiences for local families while raising support for programs that educate, protect and care for children.
Wesley House is seeking local businesses and community supporters through a dual sponsorship package that combines support for both the Big Splash and Wesley House’s signature Valentine-themed fundraising event scheduled for Feb. 13, 2027.
The dual sponsorship allows businesses to maintain visibility and community engagement across two distinct events — one centered on children and families during the summer and the other celebrating compassion and community during the Valentine season.
“Strong communities are built when businesses and neighbors come together to support children and families,” said Grace Epperly, director of development. “These sponsorships help create joyful experiences while also helping Wesley House continue serving families who need support, encouragement, and resources.”
The Big Splash sponsorship opportunities are available in increments of $1,000, $750, $500, and $250.
Dual sponsorship packages range from $7,500, $5,000, and $2,500.
Payments are not due until after July 1 and dual sponsorship packages may be split into two payments. More information is at wesleyhouse.org/thebigsplash. The deadline to be included in advertising for the Big Splash event is Monday, June 22.
