NAPLES TEEN FACING CHARGES AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY THREATENED JUVENILE’S LIFE

A 13-year-old from Naples was arrested on March 20 after he allegedly sent another juvenile an image of a rifle on TikTok while threatening to kill her.

The sheriff’s office said Sebastian Blanco was charged with making an electronic threat to kill, cause bodily harm, conduct a mass shooting, or act of terrorism.

“These are serious cases and I will not tolerate such threats made on social media or anywhere else,” said Sheriff Rick Ramsay.

The Naples Police Department notified the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office of the incident following their investigation. The female victim is also a Naples resident; however, she received the threat while visiting the Florida Keys earlier this month.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for Blanco’s arrest thereafter. Law enforcement in Collier County arrested Blanco on Friday via the arrest warrant.
