Kellie Butler Farrell
Kellie is a lifelong journalist living in Key Largo. She spent twenty years in television and taught journalism at Barry University in Miami Shores and Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
At heart, Kellie is a storyteller. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami.
Kellie has been visiting the Keys since her teenage years. She has learned a lot about this wonderful community by writing stories for Keys Weekly. Whether sailing, power boating, or kayaking, Kellie and her husband, Niall, enjoy everything the island lifestyle offers.
