A Night in Old Havana
The Key Largo Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman’s Gala, on Saturday, Jan. 13, is open to the public.
The theme of the evening is A Night in Old Havana. The hosting venue, Playa Largo Resort and Spa, will serve traditional Cuban cuisine that includes a slow roasted spitfire pig, Caribbean style mahi, rice and beans, and authentic cafécito. Enjoy a cigar while playing dominoes and listening to the musical ensembles of Carlos Olivia and Los Sobrinos Del Juez and La Charanga Tipica Tropical. Olivia is this year’s King of Carnival for the Miami Broward Carnival. Local artist Carmen Sotolongo Kelley will be exhibiting her work throughout the night as well.
Proceeds from the fundraiser’s silent auction benefit the chamber’s Hurricane Irma business relief fund.
Tickets are $150 per person and available by phone at 305-394-1680.
