The 2020 Connections Project Mosaic arrived in Marathon with a reception and open house at Shady Palm Art Gallery on March 6. The mosaic is made up of 400 individual pieces of art from Keys artist and will be on display at Shady Palm Gallery, 2888 Overseas Hwy until March 18 and is free to the public. Gallery owner Lori Gaukel, Marathon City Councilman and musician John Bartus and Florida Keys Council of the Arts executive director Elizabeth Young raffle off prizes at the reception.
