Comedy Key West has three professional standup comedians scheduled for upcoming shows at the BottleCap: Kyle Grooms, Dustin Diamond and Myke Herlihy.

Kyle Grooms

Grooms, a comedian, actor, writer and radio personality, performs on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 9 and 10. He had a half-hour special on Comedy Central, appeared as “Lyle” in the film “I Feel Pretty!” starring Amy Schumer, and has appeared on VH1, NBC, BET and “Chappelle’s Show.”

Diamond is a pop culture icon and is best known as Screech on “Saved by the Bell,” a role he played for all 10 seasons of the show. His act is

Mike Herlihy

adult-oriented, definitely not the same squeaky-clean, Saturday-morning comedy that he spent 10 years doing as Screech. In addition to stand-up comedy, he has been involved in reality television, indie movies, and numerous other projects.

Herlihy’s ability to find the funny in any situation has made him a favorite at festivals throughout the country including “The World Series of Comedy” in Las Vegas, “The Boston Comedy Festival” in Sommerville, Mass., and “The Laugh Your Asheville Off” comedy festival in Asheville, N.C.

Dustin Diamond

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and showtime is at 8:30. For more information about the comedians and to purchase tickets visit www.comedykeywest.com. Bottlecap is at 1128 Simonton St. in Key West.
