Here’s the latest from the Florida Department of Health on case numbers and statistics in the Keys:

There are currently 43 positive COVID-19 cases in the Keys. 37 are residents and six are non-residents. 22 are men and 21 are women. 23 are from Key West, 5 from Key Largo, 4 from Tavernier and one from each of Islamorada, Summerland Key, Key Colony Beach and Marathon. One case is missing a city.

21 are travel-related, 12 are community-acquired and 10 are under investigation.

The age range of those affected is 19 to 80, with age range 45 to 54 showing the most cases, followed by ages 25 to 34 and 55 to 64 about even behind.

As of 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, there have been seven hospitalizations and two deaths.
