What do you enjoy about being on the baseball team? I enjoy being around all of my friends. We are always making jokes and having a good time together. It has helped me to make closer friends.
How long have you been playing on the team? Growing up I always wanted to play baseball, and my family has always been really into the sport. In fifth grade I decided to join the team. Now, as a freshman, I play on the varsity team.
Describe one of your best moments in athletics. One of my best moments was last year in a big game against Miami Country Day. I had been struggling at the plate and then I hit a grand slam. It was a great feeling and the team was so happy for me.
Coach Joey says … Something meaningful Joey says to me is that he believes in me and thinks that I have a lot of potential. It makes me feel good to know that my coach believes in me even when I make a mistake.
