The Tedeschi Trucks Band, featuring renowned guitarist Derek Trucks and his hugely talented wife, Susan Tedeschi, took the stage at the Key West Amphitheater on Nov. 14 with their band.

Trucks, a guitar prodigy, has played on stage and in the studio with music’s greatest-of-all-time players, including the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton and B.B. King.

After playing on stage in 2012 with B.B. King and John Mayer, King remarked of Trucks’ performance, “That’s about as good as I’ve ever heard it.”

Considered an American blues and blues rock group, the Tedeschi Trucks Band was formed in 2010 and is based in Jacksonville, Florida. Their debut album, “Revelator,” won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. The band has released four studio and three live albums.

They did not disappoint the packed house at the Coffee Butler Key West Amphitheater.
