The Middle Keys had two — count ’em, two — boat parades last weekend. The first was hosted by Marathon Marina Resort in Boot Key Harbor and the second, in Key Colony Beach, was hosted by the Key Colony Beach Fishing and Boating Club and KCB Community Association. There is considerable overlap between participants, and captains who go all out are rewarded with cash and prizes. A special shout-out to photographer Kathleen Fontes, who captured these images.
