RUNNING THE ISLANDS

Runners welcomed warmer climes at Islamorada’s annual Half Marathon, 10K & Beach N’ Beer Mile last weekend. The main half-marathon and 10K events on Dec. 8 ended at Robbie’s Marina. Some 1,500 registered for the entire weekend slate of events, while 1,200 participated in the half marathon and 10K.
