Key West International Airport once again became a holiday wonderland on Dec. 5, when the Silverliners, a charitable group of retired flight attendants, hosted the Fantasy Flight to the North Pole.

The parking garage at the airport turned into a series of games, reading circles and visits with police dogs and horses, while upstairs at the Conch Flyer restaurant, more than 300 local kids were treated to a huge spread of food, drinks, live holiday songs, a visit by the Grinch and some one-on-one time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Silverliners ensured that no one went hungry and that each kid went home with their own brand new Christmas gift.
