THIS WEEKEND: MARATHON COMMUNITY THEATRE DEBUTS ‘TAH DANCE’ SHOWCASE

Dancers from ballet to Bollywood have spent the last few months putting the finishing touches on their routines for Tah Dance: Fun in the Sun, running for one weekend at Marathon Community Theatre. The playhouse’s 14th annual community dance showcase is stacked with more than 20 acts from its open dance classes, mixed with a variety of solo and small group performances.

“Tah Dance is a showcase of the talent and hard work exhibited by MCT’s dance program,” said director Kayla Merrill. “Our dancers invite you to have some fun in the sun – you won’t want to miss out on this weekend’s main event!”

Tah Dance runs on Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at marathontheater.org or by calling 305-743-0994. Photo by ALEX RICKERT/Keys Weekly
