Federal judge dismisses case against city of Marathon - A tree with snow on the ground - The Stuffed Pig

Cinque, Lugiciano, Stuffed Pig cleared of any wrongdoing for sewer hookup

Last week a federal judge dismissed a case brought against the city of Marathon, former Mayor Mike Cinque, former Planning Commissioner Ralph Lucignano for “interference and other various” accusations.

The suit, filed by the Joseph Ardolino estate, represented by Richard Warner and John Parente, suggests that Cinque and Lucignano used their positions in local government to devalue the property adjacent to Cinque’s Stuffed Pig Restaurant and neighboring trailer park.

In the dismissal, United States District Court Judge James Lawerence writes, “Even a cursory review reveals that the Complaint runs afoul of Rule 8; the Complaint is improperly packed with legal argument and conclusory allegations.”
