OMI will be conducting a smoke test of the sewer system on the 1400 block of Thompson Street on Friday, June 3rd. Some residents may see small amounts of smoke rising from the sewer covers and vent pipes, but it’s nothing to be concerned about, according to OMI officials and Key West Fire Marshal Marcus Del Valle.
