“Marco works very hard and I was ecstatic that he was able to break the record in front of the home crowd.” – Judd Wise, Conchs kicking coach

Key West senior kicker Marco Davila is a four-year starter for the Conchs. Last Friday, he made school history by breaking the Key West High School record for career touchbacks with 41, four of which happened that night. Davila is described by Conchs kicking coach Judd Wise as hard-working and willing to put in extra effort in the offseason. Davila attends kicking camps and combines and is being recruited by a number of universities hoping to secure him and his deadly leg next fall. For his multiple years of excellence for Key West and his strong work ethic, Marco Davila is the Keys Weekly Athlete of the Week.
