The recently-completed restrooms at the Quay park and boat ramp are now a nationally-renowned spot to take a load off, according to the nonprofit American Restroom Association. The bathrooms were recently named a landmark on the Great American Toilet Tour – yes, that’s really a thing – presented by the association to spotlight public restrooms that promote access and dignity for all. According to the ARA’s site, this July, program manager Candace Blue will drive 7,000 miles across 20 states to spotlight cities with outstanding public restrooms.
