What do you enjoy about playing football? I get to surround myself with friends who are like family. I play not only for myself, but for and with my teammates.
How long have you been playing on the team? I’ve only been playing for two years, but I’m glad I joined. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have had that high school football experience. It definitely has been a memorable one.
Describe one of your best moments in athletics. My best moments were when I would score a touchdown. We put a lot of work in just for that couple of points. The best part of it all was looking back at my teammates who were all celebrating with me. That is definitely always going to be the best feeling when playing and thinking about football.
Coach Childress says … “If you can go through with playing football, you can go through any obstacle that life throws at you.” In football we have our ups and our downs, but you don’t want to just stay down. You want to get back up in life, similar to what coach is saying.
