What do you enjoy about being on the basketball team? I really enjoy getting to spend time with all my friends while doing something I love. I love being on the court, whether it’s in a game, in practice or just for fun. Basketball is what I have the most fun doing.
How long have you been playing on the team? I’ve been playing basketball all my life, but I joined the school team this year. I am really glad I did, because I’ve learned a lot, and made close friends doing it.
Describe one of your best moments in athletics. My best moment was a game with the whole basketball team. It was our first win of the season. We work really hard in practice everyday. When we finally won, it felt like all our time and sweat was finally worth it.
Coach Freeman says … “ We can do better.” This reminds me and my teammates that we need to hustle a little more and play a little harder, because we are there to win.
