MONROE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE HOLDS ANNUAL INSPECTIONS

Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies and investigators in the Ocean Reef, Key Largo and Islamorada districts convened at the parking lot near the old Plantation Key Courthouse for annual inspection on Jan. 6. Deputies and investigators stood next to their vehicles as Undersheriff Chad Scibilia inspected uniforms, vehicles and firearms. Scibilia questioned each deputy on the sheriff’s office’s motto, to which they replied honesty, professionalism and commitment to community.
