REEF’S REPORT: EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS

Hi friends! Reef the fox here with your weekly “Reef’s Report.” Drop the leftovers and cancel your excuses. I bring you news so important it practically deserves its own parade: our Giving Tuesday fundraiser at Pawsitive Beginnings just became a double match emergency of the most delightful kind.

First, Andrew Burr of the Andrew Burr Group showed up like and announced he would match every single dollar donated up to $1,000. Not only that, he walked in the door this past weekend holding that first $1,000 check. Yes. Physically in hand. A power move if I’ve ever seen one.

And then, because the universe clearly understands how important foxes are, The Keyes Company heard about Burr’s match and immediately said, “Hold our coffee,” and pledged to match his donation as well. Which means this is no longer a $1,000 opportunity. This is a $2,000 matching miracle, and if you’re doing the math correctly (and I assume you are, unlike Isla), it means we can turn $2,000 into $4,000 for the foxes. This match extends through the entire month of December.

That’s not just generosity, that’s fox economics.

And what does all that extra money mean for us? Food in our bowls, medicine when we need it, clean enclosures, enrichment and the very important luxury item known as “not having to worry about our future.”

From the softest corner of my fuzzy heart, I extend my deepest thanks to the Andrew Burr Group and The Keyes Company for believing in our story and backing our mission in such a big way. When humans show up like this, it doesn’t just change numbers on a page, it changes lives.

So now, dear community, it’s your turn. Help us unlock the rest of the match. Every dollar counts. Every gift matters. Every contribution goes twice as far.

Let’s make this Giving Tuesday one for the history books. Donations can be mailed to: Pawsitive Beginnings, P.O. Box 1165 Tavernier, FL 33070.

That is more than enough for this week, until next time, Reef, over and out!
