WATER MAIN PROJECT PROGRESSES IN ISLAMORADA: WORK STOPPED FOR LOBSTER MINI-SEASON

Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority announced that crews installed 2,790 feet of pipe in the ground, crews have already installed more than 36% of the new transmission main in Windley Key.

With lobster mini-season underway, the work halted to allow traffic to flow smoothly through Islamorada. The rolling lane closure began July 23 and will go through Sunday, July 28.
