RD Goodman is the father to Hurley Dale & River Marie as well as the charter captain of the Huntress. The best part about being a dad: Hoping one day Hurley can throw the cast net for me, and hearing River say Daddy I love you! ERIKA GOODMAN/Contributed
Our themes for JUNE are PAPAS and PRIDE. June is Pride Month, so show us what it means to have pride in the Keys (we’re looking at you, Key West). Father’s Day is June 20. Send a tribute to the dad in your life, or tell us what your favorite thing about being a dad is!

Jim Dad, the man that supports all my crazy adventures near and far, thank you for your unconditional love and support always. There’s no one else I’d rather share this wonderful life with. Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. WHITNEY WEMETT/Contributed

Wishing my husband Patrick D’Amico (and our son Luke) a happy first Father’s Day. JEANINE D’AMICO/Contributed
My dad has always encouraged me to live life to the fullest while simultaneously reminding me that everything works out the way it should. We both enjoy the outdoors, live music, long distance running, cowboy boots and red wine. If I was home for Fathers Day, we would probably be sharing a bottle of red wine over a charcuterie board while watching a tennis match after a day of fishing. Happy Father’s Day to my dad and all the other dads out there! Live Large! HAYLEY BURLESON/Contributed
Having visited Key West for the time in 1996, (my wife Julia Davis and I) moved here in 1999 and were immediately accepted and loved by the gay — and straight — community. That is Key West Pride to us. EDIE HAMBRIGHT/Contributed
I don’t have a coming-out story because I’ve always known I was different. I never hid it. I was never ‘in.’ In first grade, I discovered red bubble gum candy could be used as a lipstick, so I put it on my lips — at an all-boys Catholic school. MAYA MONTATA/Contributed
